Terms of Service

StoreShots is an AI-powered tool that generates, translates, resizes, and produces App Store / Play Store marketing assets (screenshots, icons, feature graphics, and related outputs) based on the prompts and images you provide. Outputs are produced by automated AI models and are provided for your use in app store listings and marketing.

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into these Terms. One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts to abuse promotions, free credits, or referrals.

The Service runs on credits. Credits are a limited license to use the Service and have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for money. A credit is consumed the moment a generation task is started. Credits are provided in two ways: (a) credits included with a subscription, which reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over; and (b) one-time credit packs you purchase separately, which do not expire while your account remains active.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of your current paid period. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor; you authorize us and it to charge your payment method for all fees plus applicable taxes. We may change prices and plans prospectively; changes do not affect a billing period already paid.

Credits and subscriptions are digital products that are delivered and consumed immediately, so all purchases are final and non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law. Where an individual AI output is defective, we may, at our discretion, re-issue credits (not cash) through the in-app report tool. Full details are in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that violates the rights of others or the policies of Apple, Google, or any app store. You may not resell or redistribute the Service itself, reverse engineer it, scrape it, overload it, or circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security. You are solely responsible for the images and prompts you upload and for ensuring you have the rights to them.

You retain ownership of the images and text you upload ("Input"). You grant us a limited license to process your Input solely to operate the Service, including sending it to our third-party AI and infrastructure providers. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, you own the outputs you generate ("Output") to the extent such ownership is permitted by law and by the underlying AI providers' terms. You are responsible for reviewing Output before publishing it.

AI-generated Output may contain errors, misrendered or misspelled text, inaccurate layouts, or unexpected results, and may resemble other works. We do not guarantee that Output will be accurate, unique, fit for any particular purpose, or accepted by any app store. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all Output — and for ensuring your app store submissions comply with the relevant store guidelines — before use.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding your Input and Output), is owned by StoreShots and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service under these Terms.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoreShots will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold StoreShots harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Input, your Output, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or initiate a fraudulent chargeback. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence grant you additional rights.
